Meet the Foxes

Margie Fox

Margie Fox is a true Jacksonville native. Her maiden name happens to be Wood, and she embodies her family name with a career designing landscapes all over town. She’s Florida Certified Landscape Designer #10 and a state board member for the FNGLA (Florida Nursery Growers & Landscape Association). Margie graduated from UNF in 1975 and during that time worked for the Landscape Architect Bob Hartwig. She helped install the Independent Life building interior gardens and remained their gardener for 5 years. She incorporated her business, Foxy Foliage Inc. in 1984, and is thrilled to have her youngest daughter Leah carry on the family business with her.

Leah Fryefield

Leah Fryefield has grown up with a love for art and the outdoors. After watching her mother behind the drawing board and in the garden, she realized she would love nothing more than to join forces with her mom and work for the family business. She then acquired her Horticultural Professional Certification (FHCP) in October 2008. Shortly after she graduated from FSU with a degree in sculpture in 2010, she became active in the FNGLA and started networking with others in the green industry. Leah’s worked for Foxy Foliage, Inc. since January 2011 as the landscape gardener. Recently, she enrolled in Residential Landscape Design at Emory and graduated in July 2016.  The future is bright for Foxy Foliage and we look forward to watching it grow.
